Run below command and try again.

Installing PowerShell in Vista Windows 7 Having read other threads, it's obvious PowerShell works in Vista, but I'm sure having trouble getting it going. I WAS able with no problems, but again, how do I get it started? I'm new to PowerShell, which complicates matters, but at least on my laptop there's a menu entry I I had to be looking in the wrong place. If you do a search on PowerShell and Vista, the first article to appear is "How to download Windows PowerShell 1.0". That article explicitly mentions that its for a prelease version of Vista, and about the program, be interested to know that this newsgroup is available: microsoft.public.windows.powershell keywords: Installing, PowerShell, in, Vista description: Having read other threads, it's obvious PowerShell works in Vista, but I'm sure having trouble getting it going.
