Windows 7 - Myst editions - A few questions

Hello.

A friend of mine told me that I must try Myst.
I am running Vista Home Premium.

I have read the list of games that have proven Vista compatibility on
another thread.

I have also looked around to find that there are a lot of editions out
there. Here is one list on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Myst-Games-Date-August-2005/lm/2O2ACJYE9GGNA

1. The biggest thing I am worried about is: Which editions will run on Vista
(Home Premium) ?

The 10th anniversary edition says that it will run on XP.
I have run other games that only go up to XP before on my computer. One
example is Railroad Tycoon 3. I have to run it as an Administrator, but I
have never had any problems with it.

2. I have read mixed reviews about trying RealMyst on Vista. Does it work or
not?

3. If I get one of the later editions, III, IV, V or Uru or Riven, will I
feel like I missed a lot, or are these editions worth playing without ever
played any version of the Myst series before? Is there a recommended order to
getting these?

Any and all responses are welcome. I feel like I have lived in the dark not
having played this game! LOL

After further research, I am afraid that Myst is not possible on Vista. But,
that is OK. A friend of mine and I are playing Syberia I and II. We like them
very much and are hopeful that version III is in the works.

As for Myst, I guess I will just have to listen to people tell me how good
it was.

XP, XP, XP will they all work together Windows 7 Anyone know if XP home and XP pro programs are compatible with XP media center 2005. Could security updates create a problem? I just bought a new comp with XP media center and can’t reformat the drive because of the warranty. But I’d like to have the addition programs XP home and XP pro offer.
