Search in Discussion Groups

Hi,

The search in the discussion group forums is starting to bug me...
Can anyone explain why it is so absolutely terrible? If I want to find
something I should just be able to type a word that is in the header or post
in the "Search For:" box and it should return all posts the appropriate group
that contain that word right?

So often I type in a word that I know is in the post and it returns nothing.
Then I just have to manually scroll through the messages to find it and sure
enough the word is there but search did not find it.

This is a bit nit picky and I really love the forum but I am getting tired of
having to manually find previous posts all the time when I know they are
there.

Can you tell me where I can find the forum so I can test it? Please also
tell me what keywords I am supposed to use and what I am supposed to find.

There have been many similar comments about Microsoft's flawed search
technologies over the years, both in terms of web resources, and also
with the off-line MSDN library and the Technet library. I also noticed
today that BING is a terrible search engine, when looking for developer
resources.
