Windows 7 - Trial or beta release of Visual Studio, which is better

I would like to try the Visual Studio Team Suite before I buy. Now I
have two choices, either try the beta version of Visual Studio 2010, or
the 90-day trial of Visual Studio 2008. Which one is a better choice in
general? When will the beta version get expired? Is there any limitation
with the beta version?
Thanks.

If you plan to buy such an expensive piece of software it is only fair
on the company if you trial a finished version. That said, Visual Studio
2010 is finalised and a full trial (not the beta) can be downloaded from
here:

Which version you choose to buy depends on your exact requirements and
your budget.

Apologies, I got ahead of myself. Got ahead of Microsoft actually. lol.
The download is a release candidate. Either way, you can expect it to
act in almost every way like the upcoming final version bar maybe a few
very minor bugs. So again it comes down to your exact requirements and
how much you want to spend. I apply the same simple rule when buying
expensive software like this as I do when purchasing hardware: buy the
best you can afford at the time.
