Getting hotmail mail from myself

Asked By sterge0

I have my hotmail spam filter set to exclusive. It has worked very
well. Recently, however, I have been getting spam from a sender who
uses my hotmail address as "from", and these messages are not blocked
by the filter. My e-mail address is not included in my contact list.

How can I block these messages?

Thanks.

You can't. MSN Hotmail won't let you add your own Hotmail email address to
the filters, and it automatically whitelistes all email from your own Hotmil
email address. Consequently, and the damned spammers know this, forging the
recipient MSN Homtail email address as the sender will *always* put the spam
in the Inbox. Damned MSN, too, for configuring their servers in that
fashion.
