You need to post in an Outlook Express newsgroup. Outlook and Outlook
Express are two different programs.

disable email scanning by antivirus applications. If that doesn't help, try
asking in the outlook express newsgroup:

PST Files (Outlook) Windows 7 One of the things that stopped me from using Windows Live Mail in the past was calendar support so I used Outlook. Now that this feature is there I began using Windows Live Mail, however I want to be able to either be able to import my Outlook email into Windows Live Mail or export it from Outlook to Windows Live Mail. Microsoft products should support Microsoft products. Currently the only way to a shareware PST convertor. Secondly to have the ability to import your calendar entries from Outlook -> Windows Live Mail would be fantastic! Without having to use Connector to sync it to your Windows Live Calendar. Phantom" installation of Outlook. Windows 7 Greetings All, Windows XP SP2. I have completed installing on a new computer was used on my old computer. I use Thunderbird and do not use OE or Outlook. I installed Word and Excel from office 97, which I have been using for years. Somehow something from Outlook get installed and is causing problems. It will not let me send e-mail from because it wants to set up "exchange server" which I cannot do of course because Outlook has not actually been installed. I have no idea how it happened, but I assume that in the installation process there is a hidden option - Allow Outlook to Screw Up Your System - which got set. The obvious solution is to uninstall Office if someone could suggest how I can rid my system of this "phantom" installation of Outlook w / o the trouble of installing and reinstalling. If you can suggest something, I will philologos at mindspring dot com Windows XP Basics Discussions Windows XP (1) Windows Installer (1) Outlook 2003 (1) Office 2003 (1) Office 2007 (1) Outlook (1) Office (1) Excel (1) Bob Taylor
