Windows 7 - Using "perfmon" to measure encryption impact on wireless networkin

I'm interested in using perfmon to study the impact that different wireless
encryption methods (WEP, WPA, WPA2, etc.) might have on a PCs performance,
such as processor overhead, additional memory use, etc.
I will create a custom counter log to capture the results of my test(s), and
then analyze the data with Excel.
Can anyone tell me, specifically, which performance counters I might need to
watch to get the best results from my "experiment"?
Thank you,
Ed

WEP - stil insecure? Windows 7 Just t make sure I am not missing something, I thought I'd throw out these questions. . . Is WEP still as insecure as it was reported to be circa 2001? What if you have WEP into a network that requires logging in to the server (like a 2003 Windows server is WEP still an issue? Can you "make WEP secure"? Is there any valid reason to use WEP in a business environment? to get "Windows cannot find [FileName]. Make sure. . . . ". The shortcut points to a .XLS and Excel opens - just empty, with no docs open. But the strange thing is that if I drag / drop the problem icon to the empty Excel window, it opens up the document just fine. The diff is that I set Excel | Tools | Options | General | Ignore other applications = True. If I back out that setting, the icon would also like my shortcuts to work the first time. - - Pete Cresswell Windows XP Discussions Excel 2003 (1) Office (1) Excel (1) Dynamic Data Exchange (1) Application (1) XLS file (1) Windows Explorer (1) Pete Cresswell works, read: http: / / en.wikipedia.org / wiki / Dynamic_Data_Exchange You did not mention WHICH version of Excel you are using.
