Hi.
I have narrow down the problem to be wzcsvc.dll file with Ver.
5.1.2600.2658 that is causing my problems problems.
How can I change the file with wzcsvc.dll file is 5.1.2600.2180
Is there other files that also needs to be changed?

Sorry I couldn't find your part 1... anyway, the WZC consists of several files
and you install all of them together as one of recent MS updates:
kb 893357
kb 918997
These patches may also repair the WZC service startup and registry settings,
however I haven't tested this. Of course, if some 3rd party app keeps
fighting with WZC over your wireless card, it is a different issue.

Who manages my wireless adapter if not WZC? Windows 7 Is there a short and sure way of finding out what process owns wireless adapter? We think that on XP it will either be WZC service or 3rd party wireless profile application. Can I query wireless device / adapter and find to the right direction with this that will be much appreciated. Thanks!! If it says "cannot manage this adapter" or WZC isn't running - it obviously doesn't. 2. Open properties of the adapter, Wireless tab Windows manage this adapter" is checked. You can use the WLAN API to find if WZC manages the adapter. But it queries WZC, not the adapter. - -PA Thank you Pavel for your response, but I meant to ask that, without having any user intervention to this. I am able to find out whether WZC is managing my adapter, what I need to find out who does if WZC isnt doing it - that is exactly which other 3rd party manager, application, process etc is
WZC Locks Domain Account While Authenticating Windows 7 We allow WZC to manage our laptop wireless connections. We have approximately 3500 laptops users with same access Of these 3500 laptop users, we have about 10 users who can not authenticate through WZC, through Aruba network, to Radius server. The WZC eventually locks the users domain account. If I install the Intel PROSet Wireless Wifi Connection outdated version of Steel Belted radius of 4.71 and perhaps the oh so enjoyable WZC service. But we seem to be in a much better place using IIS vs. Funk Radius! I thought you were just having a little fun with the name. Now the WZC service is really an excellent tool and out performs any third party tools I have search and find where that specific users computer is liocated. Did I crash my WLAN card by starting WZC? Windows 7 My Dell WLAN card has always worked fine with its native driver. Recently although the radio shows a strong connection in place), and I'm thinking of disabling WZC. Should I do this by doing Configure -> Advanced for my WLAN card and disabling "WZC IBSS Channel Number" and "WZC Managed Ethernet"? Could I also have messed up the process of enabling WZC? Now, when I attempt to "View Available Wireless Networks, " I get only an error message cannot configure this wireless connection" and referring me to the Knowledge Base article on starting WZC. Get rid of WZC; uninstall and reinstall; or try something different?
