Outlook File As

Asked By Phil

I have changed the name property for "File As" (0x8005). Outlook
displays the new "File As" correctly, but when I double click on the
contact the dialog displays either a blank entry for "File as" or the
company name instead. Outlookspy shows the correct value for the "file
as" property. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to set another property?

If you explicitly set FileAs,

If you explicitly set FileAs, FileUnderId
({00062004-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}, 0x8006, PT_LONG), must be set
to -1.
