Windows 7 - Changing the Outlook Format

Asked By Dina on 27-Feb-08 11:46 PM
Does anyone know how to change the outlook format back to the original
hotmail format? I know there was a choice during the inital set up stage,
and I opted for outlook format...but I hate it and would like to see it like
the original layout back. Can anyone help? Thank you.

Sorry...I just downloaded windows live. I have MSN, usually log in through
internet explorer. I've seen a more updated version of it, and so I
downloaded windows live...but chose the outlook option which i'm not very
fond of. I know I saw the option to have the style stay the same but I chose
wrong. I wanted to change it back.

If you are referring to now defunct old Hotmail Classic interface that preceded the current Windows Live Hotmail Classic and Full
Version interface then there is no way to return to that view/GUI. The only options at this time are the Full version or the
Classic(for slower connections, less features[I.e. no drag an drop etc]).

Thanks winston. I think I understand what you are saying.

So, there is no way to make the style of windows live mail, similar to the
old hotmail style? Is it strictly outlook style, with a few changes in the
options tab?

Sorry, just trying to get it figured out...i'm really new to this.

When you say "windows live" it isn't clear if you mean Windows Live
Hotmail or something else. There is a whole suite of programs under
the Windows Live umbrella, see .
If you mean Windows Live Hotmail, we don't really cover that in this forum.
Try the MSN.discussion forum.

See my most recent explains the two options in the web interface and asks a few more questions.

If you don't have Windows Live Mail installed, Msn and Hotmail questions are usually asked/answered in the following forum
