The subject line and the email body are different. The content does not
match what the subject says it should be.

Pop3, IMAP, or Http ?
Is the message still on your isp web server ? If so, forward it to =
yourself and redownload it in WLM.
Is it only one message ?

Normally, you symptom indicates a problem between the message store =
index (database that contains pointers - like a table of=20
contents) and the actual message stored in *.eml format in the hard =
drive.

You can try a few things..
Drag the message to the desktop, then back into another folder (e.g. =
user created folder in Storage folders)...if resolved delete=20
the problem message then copy (not move) the message from the Storage =
folder back to its preferred location, once verified in the=20
preferred location, delete the original copy in the Storage folder.

Alternatively, it=E2=80=99s a good idea to compact the database (default =
is every 100 program openings). Sometimes compacting will realign=20
the index and the message.

What causes the mismatch ? In most cases, shutting down WLM while it is =
still indexing, loss of an internet connection, AV scanning=20
for incoming mail are all known causes.

How did you attempt to compact a pop3 email account folder in WLM ?

No clue what you mean by 'only shows hotmail' ?
- was this a hotmail account using the pop3 server ?

Compaction (that I referenced) only occurs after WLM closes.
1. Open WLM in mail mode (do not access News, Feeds, Contacts, or =
Calendar)
2. Click Work Offline (rt side of WLM2011 Ribbon/Home tab)
3. Set the compact counter to 1
- WLM Button/Options/Mail/Advanced/Maintenance
4. Exit WLM via the WLM button (do not exit via the 'X' in the upper =
right)
5. Two dialog boxes will show up, one quickly that a backup is being =
made, the second stating WLM is recovering disk space - Do=20
**not** interrupt. The dialog box will automatically close when =
complete.
6. Open WLM in Mail mode
7. Check the message again, if still present, delete it and use the copy =
from the web server.

In the future, if being done, ensure your AV is not scanning incoming =
email.
