Pop3, IMAP, or Http ?
Is the message still on your isp web server ? If so, forward it to =
yourself and redownload it in WLM.
Is it only one message ?
Normally, you symptom indicates a problem between the message store =
index (database that contains pointers - like a table of=20
contents) and the actual message stored in *.eml format in the hard =
drive.
You can try a few things..
Drag the message to the desktop, then back into another folder (e.g. =
user created folder in Storage folders)...if resolved delete=20
the problem message then copy (not move) the message from the Storage =
folder back to its preferred location, once verified in the=20
preferred location, delete the original copy in the Storage folder.
Alternatively, it=E2=80=99s a good idea to compact the database (default =
is every 100 program openings). Sometimes compacting will realign=20
the index and the message.
What causes the mismatch ? In most cases, shutting down WLM while it is =
still indexing, loss of an internet connection, AV scanning=20
for incoming mail are all known causes.
