Windows 7 - Transferring setting, storage, etc. to another WLM 2009 machine

Asked By BillW50 on 30-Mar-12 08:06 AM
Is there an easy way to transfer everything from one Windows 7 machine
(settings, messages, and even storage folders) under WLM 2009 to Windows
8 WLM 2009? I have an old version of the pay version of "ABF Outlook
Express Backup" which works great for OE. Is there anything like it for
WLM?

WLM on the Windows 8 machine does not have any storage folders. And that
is the most important thing I would like. The settings and list of
newsgroups would be number two. And the messages are not that important
since they are on the servers for both newsgroups and IMAP email
accounts. TIA

I guess using the export feature will work ok, eh?

It sort of works, but there must be something better.

1) Won't accept updated existing account setting.

2) Messages does not import were they are supposed to go.

3) Feeds are not imported.

It did restore missing Storage Folders though. ;-)
