Each time I turn on Messenger, it says I have 1 invitation. When I click on
it and check, there is nothing but when I sign in again, it still gives the
same notification again. Please help as this is really annoying.
Thank you.

Greetings Faisal,
Supposedly (according to support anyway) this is going to be fixed in a future Messenger
release.

Windows Messenger versus Windows Live Messenger Windows 7 I have both Windows Messenger and Windows Live Messenger programs on my computer. Are they basically the same type of program? If so should I uninstall one of them? If so which one? I have never used Windows Messenger (version 4.7) and don't know how. I have used Windows Live Messenger (latest version) for instant messaging. I suspect that it occasionally freezes up my computer. Maybe because I have both programs installed. When it pops up, just hit the Alt key on the keyboard to bring up the menu bar, choose Tools, then Options, Sign In category and uncheck 'Automatically run Windows Live Messenger when I log on to Windows' then click OK. - - Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP
