WLM - Version 2009 (Build 14.0.8089.726
When I receive a new message from someone, the window only highlights the taskbar icon and displays a quick alert window in the bottom right corner.
Is there a way to make the new chat window pop up on the desktop?

Greetings Ken,
Messenger Discovery had this function, but I do not believe it is working now on the latest
version (at least it does not for me).
Any particular reason why you want this? Personally it drives me crazy when windows pop out
of nowhere. The Messenger "add contact" windows come to mind.

cannot access WINDOWS UPDATE successfully . . . keeps soliciting New!Get Microsoft Update today! Windows 7 I am running Windows XP SP3 Home Edition on 1 of 4 PC's and it is been updated through early April 2011. Prior to this, accessing Windows Updates (via http: / / www.update.microsoft.com / windowsupdate / v6 / default.aspx?ln = en-us) worked to understand why. Recently, around the middle of April 2011, each time I went to Windows Update, the page initially appears and I can briefly see the 2 buttons (of which my PC running XP SP3 Home Edition because my other 3 PC's, all running Windows XP SP3 Professional with Internet Explorer 6 are having no problems with Windows Update. This is also why I prefer not upgrading to Internet Explorer 8 on my
Windows Live Mail - Uninstall or not to Uninstall? Windows 7 I am trying to help a friend of mine. I use Outlook 2003, but I have acquired a general understanding of hoe WLM works. I am going to try to be as brief and clear as I can WLM was already installed, but not setup, on his PC (Windows XP-home-sp3) when he installed a Microsoft webcam. First step was to come up realized that to get to your e-mail you had firsdt to sign in to Windows Live, then select an account. Well, this is annoying and, I believe, unnecessary. What we would like to achieve is to be able to access WLM the same way my friend has been used to with Outlook Express. You dbl click
Why do you still use Windows XP? Windows 7 Give your reasons. Do you plan to upgrade ever? If so, when and why? If you use both XP and 7, do you ever plan on ditching XP for good? What will you do when support point where this OS will be problematic with new hardware? Personally I am waiting for Windows 8 to release a second service pack. XP sucked when it first came out until did not work, it had to enabled then disabled to be disabled for real. Sigh. . .
