Since upgrade, 1 PC stuck at "Synchronizing"

I have 4 machines, 3 PC, 1 mac. One PC, XP SP3, is stuck at "Synchronizing"
and will not login. I left it there for several hours yesterday, no joy.

It just came back from an extended stay at the shop as was probably about 3
weeks out of date with the others. The Live upgrade came out the same day I
got it back.

All others are happily synching...

Help!

If you reboot the machine and it still will not sign in, your best bet is

If you reboot the machine and it still will not sign in, your best bet is a
reinstall of the Live Sync software on the PC. Remove the PC from the management
page on sync.live.com and uninstall the client s/w on the problem PC. Then
install again and once connected reconfigure the folders that you will sync.

Deinstall/reboot/reinstall did not help.

Deinstall, delete every reference to "Live Sync" in the registry
Remove this machine from my Live Sync library (website)
reinstall
Works

LAME.

I had the same problem but just waited for the service to come back up.

I had the same problem but just waited for the service to come back up.

The lame brains at Microsoft refuse to provide status information (and
recently even released a new version of the client using the same version
number). They are totally clueless. I hope some grown-up at Microsoft
finds out what these kiddies are doing with their company's good will.
