Just to let those of you who may have problems setting up the TV in Media
Center that it is possible to have it fully functioning. I am using a ATI
Wonder 650 card which has the capability of connecting to HD over the air, FM
radio, and a video source via s-video. In my case I am connecting Directv
satellite through the s-video.
After updating all of the drivers for the video card, making sure that the
decoders are all MCE compatible, getting a MCE remote and IR emitter, I now
have all the HD channels as well as the satellite.
I think the real secret is making sure that Windows MCE is fully updated.
Without the latest updates, it will not "see" the multiple inputs on the one
tuner card.
Good luck to everyone!

Jim, good to hear, but how... did you attach the antenna to the second HD
input as described in the ATI install instructions? Did the MCE setup
recognize the Free-to-Air antenna? and anything else you can add?

Hi Jim,
Can you elaborate on 1) verifying decoders being MCE compatible, 2) how you
set up the three inputs via install process in MCE ?
Thanks,
Tim

Why no picture with HD channels? Windows 7 I configured my wife's HP Pavillion m9400z running Vista home premium digital cable. All of the channels are listed in the guide, but all of the HD channels I've tried so far have sound, but no picture. Or rather the picture is all static and "noise". Any idea why I cannot see the HD channels? -Thanks Windows Media Center Discussions Windows Media (1) Vista (1) XP (1) RealTEk (1 WinTV (1) ProductsServices (1) CableLabs (1) CableCard (1) for HD on Media Center, you need specific computers certified by Cable Labs and ATI tuners that use cable cards.
