KB936181 Problem

Asked By AzureSkie
14-Oct-07 07:53 PM
KB 936181 has been installing itself multiple times in Windows Update.
Looking it up on the Knowledge Base was useful, and I found the msxml files
in C:/Windows/System32. However there are three versions in that folder.

Here is the List:
msxml3.dll Version 8.90.1101.0 Belonging to MSXML 3.0 Post SP9 MS06-061
msxml3a.dll Version 8.10.8308.0 Belonging to MSXML 3.0 SP1
msxml3r.dll Version 8.20.8730.1 Belonging to MSXML 3.0 SP2
msxml4.dll Version 4.20.9818.0 Belonging to MSXML 4.0 SP2
msxml4a.dll Version 4.10.9404.0 Belonging to MSXML 4.0 SP2
msxml4r.dll Version 4.10.9404.0 Belonging to MSXML 4.0 SP2
msxml6.dll Version 6.10.1200.0 Belonging to MSXML 6.0
msxml6r.dll Version 6.0.3883.0 Belonging to MSXML 6.0

In MSXML Version 4.0 SP2 WinHTTP5.dll is missing, instead there's
Winhttp.dll version 6.0.6000.16386

Please help. I don't know what to do with these files.

For your problem, the answer is on the page link I posted. Click the link and
go to known issues. I really need help. What do I do with the files? It's
making some applications not work. WinHttp.dll isn't my question. It's what I
do with the files.
