When I try to install Windows XP Service Pack 3 (KB936929) I keep getting
access denied.

I also have that same problem. I've tried installing it three times; each
time the access is denied message would pop up. Now my computer isn't
functioning very well (running slowly).

You are installing it when logged in as an Administrator?
Merbl replied on 25-Aug-08 10:30 PM
it is a home computer.

Doesn't answer the question. Perhaps you need it rephrased, though - are you
logged in as a full or as a restricted user?
