Windows 7 - "WindowsUpdate_800700C1" "WindowsUpdate_dt000"

I continually get this error and the message that Windows cannot search for
updates.  I have had Dell, Norton, and Windows online help all unable to
correct this problem.  Has anyone else ever seen this error?

On which OS?

Try a web search?

(Microsoft Search of MSDN only for

193 0x800700C1 %1 is not a valid Win32 application. ERROR_BAD_EXE_FORMAT


If that is the meaning of the code, perhaps you have picked
the wrong version of an update?  Or have a corrupted module
already?  Etc.

Go to start/run, and type
regsvr32 regwizc.dll and press OK

then type,
regsvr32 licdll.dll and press OK.
