Cannot Start MS Office outlook after 3/11 updates

help!

on 3/11 at 3AM, my pc was autoupdated... i probably had my outlook open at
the time, and when i got to computer next AM it had been rebooted and was
waiting for me to sign in to finish updates... afetr finishing, i cant get
outlook to open.. i get the following error box:

Microsoft Office Outlook

Cannot start MS Office Outlook.  Cannot open the Outlook window..



Help!

You should be posting this issue to public.outlook.general newsgroup.

You should be posting this issue to public.outlook.general newsgroup.

Meanwhile can you open Outlook using the Safe switch
Start > Run > outlook.exe /resetnavpane

(notice the space between outlook.exe and /resetnavpane)

regular should be good to go?  i am afraid to exit out!

Now post to the outlook newsgroup as I told you. Since Outlook opened with that
switch then you have a bad 3rd party Com Add In. They will help you to sort it out
in the public.outlook.general newsgroup or any outlook newsgroup as PA Bear posted
for you
