Windows 7 - Music problems with older games

Hello, guys. I have just registered after I have discovered this forum.
I have a problem (which for me is a big one although nobody else seems
to take notice): Older games which play their ingame music from cd, play
it fine for one time and then they stop. If you want to bring it back
you have to restart the game (save, quit, restart). That is annoying!!!
I have noticed this in the following games (there must be more):
Galactic Battlegrounds, The Settlers 3, Cultures, Cultures 2. While in
Galactic Battlegrounds the music lasts for about half an hour, in the
other games the respective titles for that mission last only for
minutes. The cd player should then repeat the same music. That's the way
it always worked (since Windows95!).
Does anyone know of a way to reenable this repeat function? It would be
so great, because this destroys the atmosphere of these games in an
unbearable way!(No, copying the files to mediaplayer and then starting
this out of the game is no viable solution, in my opinion.)

I have just noticed that this thread appears three times in a row! I had
problems submitting, the server giving me error messages. But obviously,
I got through every time. And now I seem to be unable to delete two of
these messages as it would be indicated.
So, to everyone: I am sorry!

If the NOT the same as deleting that item. Disable, by its very definition, means you CAN reenable it. That's what msconfig will do. If you want to actually delete a startup that disabling an option actually deletes it from the program so you can never use (reenable) that option later? Disabling is not deletion. Disabling means the possiblity of later reenabling. How programs WHERE THE PROBLEM ACTUALLY EXISTS. I have used the msconfig for year to disable / reenable startup items (well, the ones that it manages to list). If you are going to uninstall a program then you reenable the disabled startup item so the uninstaller can remove that registry startup item (or you it). This is not the only utility that "disables" startup items to let you later reenable them. Uninstall software is NOT a reasonable solution. If you want to use RealPlayer, you

The problem comes when you decide to reenable a previously disabled startup item. What is msconfig or AutoRuns to do when it is despite knowing how to use AutoRuns, I have accidentally deleted a disabled item rather than reenable it. Oops, and there is no Undo function, either. laying that thing down in a crowded room, priceless. Amusement parks are not fun? Graphics, atmosphere, immersion, and drama Gears had, but to me that does not equal fun. I do the idea that at any moment my squad is in real danger because of the atmosphere invoked in the game. On Halo 3, I always felt in real danger, too, but
