Can someone tell me if there is a way to delete a dock or undocked hardware
profile in Vista and there isn't, this is the situation.
When I dock my laptop, the screen resolution becomes large, mouse and
keyboard does not work and laptop locks until I undock it. Have restarted
the system, let it boot up in the dock, same issue! Can you help?
Thanks

Hardware profiles in Vista Windows 7 Is there a way to create a hardware profile in Vista? I have a laptop with vista business 32 bit on it and it only has an 'undocked' profile autocreated by vista even though sometimes it is docked and sometimes undocked. I need to have different settings for each profile. Thanks. Roaming profiles between Vista and XP Windows 7 I'm having some serious issues getting roaming profiles to work between Vista and XP. I've looked at this article from the Vista MVP site of how to use roaming profiles between the two systems, but I'm not having any luck. My desktop does not and what is wrong or what I should try? I am considering having different roaming profiles for vista, but it would require more manual work and could lead to docs not being saved
Hardware Profiles Equivalent in Vista Windows 7 There doesn't seem to be a Vista forum, so I apologize for posting here. . . *BUT* I have been racking my brain trying to find the equivalent of "hardware profiles" in Vista (i.e. CtrlPnl / System / Hardware tab). I need to delete a corrupted docking station profile way to do that. PLEASE help. Roaming profiles between XP & Vista Windows 7 Preparing to migrate my first domain with Win XP clients to Vista. Roaming profiles are in use. Users do roam, and until migration is complete, roaming profiles must interoperate between XP & Vista. Per this article- - http: / / technet2.microsoft.com / WindowsVista / en / library / 88f80cb7-d44f-47f7-a10d-e23dd53bc3fa1033 example because that's where I first observed it), I should use GPMC on a Vista computer to redirect the Favorites folder to the Favorites folder in the v1 roaming profile folder. Then XP & Vista can both use the same folder. If you haven't seen the article, it's
