There is no address book, per se.
There is a Contacts folder that contains your contacts.
If you mean that they still show up in the auto-complete list when you type
a contact name in the To: box, they will eventually go away.

I have a same kind problem. When i try to delete e-maill address from my
contact list it only closed and starst again resource control .

thanks...actually i ended up hilighting the name in my "auto-complete list"
{or address book} and going under Properties....Names and E-Mail....I
manually erased the name.It then came up "Unknown" in my auto-complete list
and erased itself after shutting down the computer. Im not sure if what i did
had anything to do with solving the problem or it just "eventually went
away". Im just glad its gone.

wher I decided to become one with Windows Live Mail. Joined up as needlenoses@ live.ca and entered a second existing account @telus.net. I made sure that the telus.net get 10 to 20 posts sent to me at telus.net arrive in the live.ca inbox (checked propertys of them all). Next time I will get 5 mail go into then into both accounts. Can't figure out any solid pattern. I even deleted live.ca account for two days; decided to go back into it for a look, and it best of my knowledge, I have never had a hotmail account; just telus.net, live.ca, and g-mail (we will not go there!!) How did you come up with hotmail??? All Hotmail.com, Live.com, msn.com emails are Hotmail accounts. If your live.ca account has an Inbox at mail.live.com or hotmail.com(both addresses load the my post(a few minutes ago), if you can access mail.live.com your Live.ca account is also a Hotmail type account. - - . . .winston ms-mvp mail Hotmail and Live, whether live.com or live.ca, are essentially the same = thing.
