Does anyone know how to set an option in Windows mail where the next unread
message will NOT automatically display after you delete a previous message?

I assume you are reading each message in its own window by double-
clicking on it. If so, when done reading that message, close the window,
then delete that message from the message list pane.

Single or multiple windows Windows 7 Is it possible to set folder options so that small displays don't have huge windows, and still use the one window setup? Alternatively is there a way to set the multiple windows operation so windows close themselves instead of stacking up on your screen?
