Create a new connection. That works especially well in newsgroups such as
this where threads are specific to a problem; creating a new thread often
works best.

Also ensure that the cable is securely attached. That is similar to
questions in newsgroups, where there is abundant value in clarity of
questions.

Perhaps if you provide your email provider and error message someone can
help.  Copy and paste the entire error message.
