Windows 7 - Why does IE always open minimized windows when opening a new window?

When I minimize a window, to refer to later, and then open another
window, the minimized window opens to full screen for a few seconds
before the new window appears. Why cannot IE not open a new window
without maximizing some other window at the same time?
Is there a solution to this problem?

The question is why are you using IE? Both the French and German
government have recommended not using it as there is a vulnerability
that is actively being exploited by hackers. Use Firefox or Chrome. Or,
better yet, get rid of Vista and use a safe operating system like Ubuntu
which is free and can be gotten at http://www.ubuntu.com/

*BULLSHIT*..."The attacks that we have seen to date, including public
proof-of-concept exploit code, are only effective against Internet
Explorer 6. Based on a rigorous analysis of multiple sources, we are not
aware of any successful attacks against IE7 and IE8 at this time."

I am very happy to see you feel that way. Please keep using IE. You
deserve each other.

friend's PC first. I block much of my own free software from running on Vista / 7 because I did not want to spend a lot of time and money testing but lying to the software does not change the fact that it is running on Vista / 7. - --> I have found that getting a free copy of "Virtual PC" from Microsoft and from your old hard drive on to a new system. You will be much happier. Vista / 7 is terrible. -T Most applications will, but many drivers will not. If you app not my experience at all. That's ridiculous. I have had no more problems with Vista / Windows 7 than I do with XP, once I got past the learning curve. Windows cannot deal with that, you should be looking at non- Microsoft OSs. For me, Win7, Vista, and XP are doing their jobs quite well. - --> Now, where have I seen that information install. I have not had any problems with any games or programs. As far as Vista goes I was not too impressed with it. I made alot of money changing new Vista PC's to XP. You could also try installing both XP and 7 and do can say he will not have problems. For instance, a lot of software written before Vista is likely to run into problems with file virtualization and general restrictions. (One writes to

How to fix MBR for Vista Windows 7 I am trying to fix Vista boot sector by "Repair" from original DVD, but bootsect and bootrec does not seem to resolve the problem. Configuration: Vista Ultimate x64 SP2 installed on C: drive (partition 1) Steps: 1. Backup and delete C It is interesting that it is size is around 330kb, while the one on original Vista DVD has more than 400kb. Is there difference between original Vista and SP2? Is bootmgr on a system with SP2 compatible with boot sector created by the DVD which has first version of Vista? I ran the checkdsk, but no errors were found. If I select "Repair OS startup sector by GRUB boot loader and start Linux, but I cannot fix boot sector for Vista. Is there another way to fix MBR and boot sector of the partition? Thanks. XP vs. Vista Windows 7 Have a small network consisting of one Win XP Media Center Ed. and one Vista home premium (and an Internet router). The Vista crashed and was restored to factory and apps reinstalled, etc. Each computer has dedicated IP a version of Norton Internet Security. They are in the same workgroup. Prior to the Vista problem, all was generall well. Now, the XP seems to lose network connectivity to the Vista computer when the computers are turned on in the morning. This is important for many reasons, including that the XP uses a printer attached to the Vista for most of the XP's printing needs. I have set up a user on Vista that matches the user on XP, and have set the NIS on Vista to allow all connections to the IP of the XP box. And all is well
