Windows 7 - W Explorer display problem

I have 2 builds, one prior to FP2007 which was updated and a new build. The
latter will not give the text fields in the 3 menu areas of Windows Explorer.
File Edit View etc or text associated to the icons such as search and folder
is not displayed.
I have checked each build against each other. I do not get the right mouse
button response either in W E. Other prog apps are OK, just W Explorer is the
problem.
Any suuestions would be VERY helpful. Thanks Graham.

Graham,
During the configuration upgrade some component settings, unfortunately, may be lost (returned to defaults). Check if you still have
the same settings for the "user Interface Core" component. Specifically, the "show content menu ..." options.
There has also been some major refactoring done in FP2007 so you might be missing the following component in your new image:

Hi.
It is the new build with the problem as advised not the upgraded version.
Both show content and Browselc are included. The problem only effects W
Explorer and Control Panel but also fails to register TXT files as associated
to notebook. Windows accessories and Notepad registry file included.
Am completely lost. Regards Graham

Save this file under a different name. I use PSTAT2.TXT and put it into the same C: \ JUNK folder. Now launch Microsoft Excel and use File - Open to bring the PSTAT2.TXT file into Excel. Excel will automatically parse the file into columns. Once this is done
Windows 7 Update rollup issue After upgrading with Update Rollup 1 on top of FP 2007 I have a strange issue with and image that has run fine under vmware HKLM \ Software \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon], "Shell" key). If it is launched just fine, the problem is about either your app or the .Net libraries you use. If not, you are on there. That is where I'd suggest you to take a look at FBALog.txt and setupapi.log files to see if there were ay issues with any component installation. After all, you always have a step-by-step laborious approach where you can only upgrade component-by-component in your image config keeping deploying the image on the device for testing purposes after each step. This way you'd know what the component upgrade made the difference. - - = = = = = = = = = Regards, KM keywords: Update, rollup, issue description: After upgrading with Update Rollup 1 on top of FP
