When I am done editing my video, that is okay in the timeline, the saved video
then has a very high contrast in lots of colours (for example: The black
colours are green...). HOw do I fix that problem?

Maybe it would help if you go to...Tools /
Options / Compatibility tab...and uncheck
all the Filters.

It also may be an issue with the format of your
source files...

Many formats are reportedly compatible with
Movie Maker but the most reliable choices are:

Photos - bmp
Video - wmv or dv-avi
Music - wma, wav, wmv

Am I supposed to see the timeline play in the Viewer? Windows 7 When I play my timeline, I can hear my audio, but I do not see what I am working on anywhere. I would think that what I have placed on the timeline could be seen on the video viewer as it plays right? If that is the but I cannot see the video in the viewer? Thanks. Help, Timeline will not play Windows 7 I spend 5 hours yesterday putting together a movie and during putting the movie together, there was an "issue" where I could not control the timeline cursor. It was going back to the beginning by itself and I could not stop of these seem to be right. Plus the fact that if I hit the play timeline buttom absolutely nothing happens. HELP! Multiple Transitions Windows 7 Just started using MM 6 on Vista. When working in a timeline or storyboard after I add the third transistion between clips the preview screen goes black and I cannot play the timeline or the story board. Take out the thrid transistion and everythng comes back. Anybody else with the durations of the transistions I got more then four to work. Played the timeline all the way through and then saved the project. Reopened the project and the preveiw had a memory leak problem which was aggrevated by putting to many tansistions in the timeline. That problem would always occur when faced with the same set of circumstances. The fact that I can get everything working by playing around with the timeline and then just saving and reloading the project causes the problem to come back kinda problem. Lets start at the very beginning. What file types do you have on the timeline? Is it always the same transition that fails, or can you drop any transition on are ok. The strangest thing is that I can fool around and get a whole timeline to play wiht 6 or 7 transitions. Then just by saving and reopening the project import something from a camera and create 10 -12 scenes. Drop the clips on the timeline and start draggin in transitions. Somewhere between 3-8 the preview screen will go black
