This is not an "email" support site. All answers should / will follow
your post.
You do not make an Internet gateway with Windows XP. It was never
designed for this. You can "share" an existing Internet access via
Internet Connection Sharing "feature" or buy a "broadband" router.

Hi
It would be more beneficial if you would describe specifically what is that
you like to do in functional terms.

Can't connect using USB Linksys and Windows XP Windows 7 Installed a Linksys USB adapter, internet connection worked. Contracted a virus, format the "c" drive and reloaded XP with the system disks that came with computer. Tried to reload Linksys, the Wireless icon I right click it says "disabled". When I try to connect using the "Connect using XP" the system does nothing. Can anyone help a newbie? Thanks for reading my post. -g-. What do I need to run "Shared Desktop"? Windows 7 A friend told me that all I need in order to run Shared Desktop is MSN Messenger on both Windows XP computers. Is this true? Or do I need the latest "Windows Live" messenger to have this functionality? Thanks! Environment: 1. Office1 and Office2 are both Windows XP Pro SP2 with all latest MS Patches. 2. Both are connected to a Linksys
