From what I have been reading, is it correct that XP Home can not connect to
another computer through Remote Desktop? (XP Home SP3 to XP Pro SP3).

Thanks

Not correct. You cannot connect *to* XP Home using Remote Desctop
Connection. However, you can connect *from* XP Home to nother PC as long
as that PC is running a Professional or server version.
